Macintosh PARS Reporter - Upgrader Read Me This delivery contains several files: 1) A "Mac Upgrade" file, which contains basic information about the process of upgrading PARS Reporter. 2) The file Macintosh PARS Manual is the latest version of the PARS Manual. It explains how to get started with PARS Reporter. 3) Miscellaneous PARS resource files. Upgrading PARS Reporter: 1) Copy the PARSUpgrade.sea file onto your hard drive into a temporary location. 2) Find the existing PARS Reporter folder on your computer's hard drive. 3) Make a duplicate copy of the existing PARS Reporter folder to a temporary location. (This can be done by option-dragging the folder to a new location.) (This is important in case a problem occurs during the upgrade process and you need to revert to the old version.) 3) Double-click on the PARSUpgrade.sea file to decompress it. 4) Copy the contents of the decompressed folder into the existing PARS Reporter folder on your computer (found in step 2) above.) Replace the existing files with the new ones when prompted. 5) Double-click on the PARS Reporter application to start up. Confirm that your data in intact in the new user interface. 6) Dispose of the PARSUpgrade.sea file. Dispose of the duplicate PARS Reporter folder created in step 3) above. Dispose of the decompressed folder created in step 4) above. 7) Refer to the attached Macintosh PARS Manual for more in-depth help regarding PARS Reporter.
